Featuring artists Michael King, Denise Maxwell and Catherine Dumaine
Join Leigh Square for the opening reception of An Artistís View of Port Coquitlam in celebration of the spirit of Port Coquitlamís 100 year birthday. Live musical performance by Charles Wes & Avery Croft as well as complimentary snacks and refreshments.

Artists Michael King, Denise Maxwell and Catherine Dumaine aim to shed a new light on Port Coquitlam. This exhibition is intended to surprise local viewers by presenting an artistís perspective of their beloved place of residence in a way that many may forget exists. The paintings represent residential, rural, industrial, and urban Port Coquitlam locations throughout the seasons. Michael Kingís paintings encourage the local viewer to look at their city and streets with the same sense of wonderment as one does when traveling different lands. Every moment is as memorable as you make it.
